Clerk, Inbound Quality



  • Inspect one load of Receiving parts each day, and take necessary steps within audit process to attend to any problem parts.
  • Drive daily adherence to inbound quality packaging standards.
  • Enter and manage data into inbound quality reports, and communicate issues to the corporate packaging team. Analyze trends via inbound quality reports.
  • Research and problem-solve any quality discrepancies, and define and recommend solutions based on analysis of quality data.
  • Communicate results of audits on regular basis to warehouse leadership team for resolution of issues.
  • Provide support in rework and repackaging processes as needed.
  • Act as a liaison for suppliers when they are performing on-site rework.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • High School Diploma or GED required; technical, associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Previous distribution or warehouse experience is strongly preferred.
  • Must hold ability to approach problem-solving with an attention-to-detail and innovative mindset.
  • Knowledge of PC applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook are required.
  • Knowledge and data entry skills for distribution systems are strongly preferred (such as AS400 and RedPrairie WMS).
  • Ability to operate automated equipment as needed is required (Polaris provides internal equipment training).
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, purchase orders, receiving slips, and route slips is required.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills are needed.
  • Possesses data-driven mindset; holds ability to collect, analyze, and distribute data.
  • Must follow all warehouse safety procedures while performing job duties.
  • The ability to take direction, work independently, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment is required.
  • Working conditions are that of a traditional warehouse environment
  • Ability to lift on average 30-40 lbs and up to 70 lbs.
  • Ability to work overtime hours when necessary, and flex working hours as needed.
  • Ability to stand/walk/sit for lengthy periods of time.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
