DC Operations Manager ( Facility GM )

JOB SUMMARY: The Operations Manager is the top leadership position at Polaris's largest P,G&A Division DC located in Vermillion, SD. This role is responsible for all inbound & outbound operations of the facility. This includes maintaining and improving benchmark levels of safety, quality, customer deliver and cost. The role also works with broader leadership to improve customer experience and drive continuous improvement throughout the supply chain network. In addition, the Operations Manager will be responsible for the development of direct reports and building a talent pipeline for the facility and broader organization.   ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:    Determine and refine strategy and plans for the distribution center, based on Companies strategic objectives Provide oversight and direction to effectively manage P&L for the Vermillion DC Build, direct and manage warehouse operations, team and special projects at the site to achieve company objectives Maintain and improve levels of safety, quality, delivery, cost and continuous improvement throughout the supply chain Direct continuous improvement/lean opportunities- change agent who can develop and motivate their team to higher levels of accomplishment Lead the hiring & developing of leadership & hourly teams Foster positive employee relations and high employee engagement; union free Control costs to meet or exceed established budgets  Execute established metrics, expectations, and accountabilities for direct reports Facilitate teamwork and integration between functions and locations Promote and maintain a safe working environment for employees Identify and execute appropriate capital projects Drive culture through site and community involvement Other duties as assigned SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE 4-yeardegreerequired, preferably in engineering, supply chain/operations or business related field; masterspreferred 8 + years of large scale, distribution, manufacturing or supply chain/operations experience Proven leadership experience in progressively higher level roles of increased responsibility Ability to manage and develop professional level talent Strong understanding of distribution: logistics, fulfillment, operations, and facilities Strategic thinker with ability to be hands-on in the operation Skillful leader with proven ability to drive change and sustain results through strong problem solving capabilities supported by metrics Safety; experienced in OSHA standards and tracking, ability to lead the organization in analysis and changes to working practices and culture to exceed OSHA standards Systems experience with AS400, RF/Bar-coding technology and sortation/material handling systems preferred Ability to effectively communicate orally and written in both broad site and executive level environments WORKING CONDITIONS o Standard office and warehouse environment o Some Travel may be required (20%) 11567BR

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
