2nd Shift Warehouse Lead- Vermillion, SD
Doherty Career Solutions has teamed with a leading company in SE South Dakota to hire a Warehouse Lead. This person will manage 10-25 employees in the receiving department while meeting quality and safety goals.
Direct Hire opportunity with OT available
Shift- 2nd (2:30pm-11pm)
Duties:
Manage receiving department and properly track inventory
Demonstrate leadership and supervision in support of work culture and values
Ensure a safe working environment for all employees throughout the warehouse
Account for employee development, coaching, training and mentoring
Manage warehouse staff including hiring, firing, discipline, and scheduling
Execute day-to-day work assignments consistent with work schedules
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to excel in quality, efficiency, and customer service
Analyze quality statistics and system controls
Conduct safety training, including CPR/First Responder
Exceed productivity objectives in relation to operational goals
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree is required for this role
1-5 years of supervisory and/or warehouse experience
Prior experience with LEAN fundamentals and/or Warehouse Management Systems a plus
Would entertain fresh grad with relatable internship, or retail management
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
