Position
Summary: Toxicology Sales Representative; Upper Midwest Territory (WI, MN, IA, ND, SD)
This Toxicology Sales Representative will be responsible for selling Drugs of Abuse diagnostic reagents, primarily into the Criminal Justice, Pain Management, and Reference Laboratory markets. This position offers a balance of repeat reagent sales along with the opportunity to sell capital equipment.
Major
Responsibilities:
Responsible for direct sales of the company's products into a large specified geographic area.
Call on existing and prospective customers. Follows up with customers and prospects to ensure satisfaction and timeliness in response.
Is designated as the key interface point of contact for the customer.
Provide technical information to key decision makers in the lab.
Establish customer pricing within defined ranges, providing price quotations and RFP's.
Attend various trade shows and assist in booth staffing.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records. (Monthly Reports, SFDC, etc.)
Assist in the forecasting and the projection of sales from new and existing customers.
Minimum Requirements/
Qualifications:
BA/BS or equivalent with a minimum of four (4) years sales experience.
Advanced understanding of the toxicology/medical diagnostic industry is preferred.
Familiarity with various immunoassay technologies is a plus.
Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal form with customers as well as with internal staff.
Must be skilled in computer use and familiar with Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, and Power Point.
Able to travel a minimum of 65% within a multi-state territory.
This position has not been approved for Relocation Assistance.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
