Summary:
Executes assigned warehouse duties as safely, accurately ,and efficiently to insure achievement of corporate and customer objectives
ESSENTIAL DUTIES &
Responsibilities:
o Picks orders as assigned as safely, accurately ,and efficiently
o Packs orders as assigned as safely, accurately ,and efficiently
o Operates shipping system (if assigned) as safely, accurately ,and efficiently
o Receives incoming product as assigned as safely, accurately ,and efficiently. This can include loading, unloading, counting, verifying, putting away and collecting data.
o Understands barcode technology and operates RF equipment as assigned
o Operates automated picking equipment, power conveyors, and forklifts as assigned
o Knowledgeable with all applicable warehouse operational and quality procedures
o Knowledgeable with all safety procedures and practices safe operation at all times
o Assists in maintaining a neat and orderly warehouse
o Consistently achieves or exceeds warehouse operational pick/pack/ship/receive volume and quality standards
o Positive attitude. Excellent time and attendance performance.
o Other duties as assigned
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
o High school diploma or GED equivalent required; must be 18 years of age or older
o Ability to read and comprehend pick tickets, purchase orders, receiving slips, route slips and instructions. Must be able to do basic arithmetic; skill levels normally acquired through the completion of high school.
o Operates automated carts and other such machinery
o Previous warehouse experience preferred
o Knowledge of Polaris product and parts preferred
o Prior forklift experience required for receiving applications
o Understands and is involved actively in the PCI quality process
WORKING CONDITIONS
Standard warehouse environment
Ability to lift on average 30-40 lbs and up to 70 lbs.
Ability to stand/walk for lengthy periods of time
Ability to tolerate heights up to 26 feet
During peak operational periods overtime may be required, including weekends
Location US - Vermillion, SD
Status Part-Time
